The conference will have the usual format of plenaries and workshops but in addition we are hoping that those members/past members able to attend will bring with them their memories and any mementos they have.

Missenden Abbey is a delightful venue which will give us the kind of relaxed and exclusive environment from which our past conferences have often benefited. About 30 minutes outside central London, the 12th century Abbey is situated in about 12 acres of land. All the bedrooms are equipped with private study facilities, Sky television, hair dryer, radio, iron and ironing board, tea and coffee making facilities, en suite shower room, direct dial telephone and broadband internet access.
